Every Mosh cap has the Φ (Phi) symbol embroidered on it. We didn't choose it by chance or just for looks: it represents the hermetic principle "as above, so below", the idea that what happens inside you is reflected in how you show yourself to the world, and vice versa.
Where the symbol comes from
Φ (Phi) is the Greek letter that traditionally represents the golden ratio, a mathematical relationship that appears again and again in nature: in the arrangement of a sunflower's seeds, in the spiral of a shell, in the proportions of the human body. For centuries it has been associated with the idea of harmony and natural balance, and that's why we chose it as the brand's visual foundation.
The principle of correspondence
"As above, so below" is one of the oldest principles of the hermetic tradition. In short: what happens on a large scale is reflected on a small scale, and vice versa. Applied to something as everyday as a cap, the idea is simple — what you wear on the outside can also be a reflection of how you feel on the inside, not just a matter of fashion.
Why we put it on a cap
We wanted something that could be worn without constantly needing an explanation: for those who know the symbol, it's a direct nod; for those who don't, it's simply a clean, distinctive design. Over time, many customers have told us they discovered the meaning after buying the cap, and that it changed how they wore it.
