Read full article ›"Dad cap" and "trucker" are the two most sought-after cap cuts, and they're often confused with each other. Although at first glance they look similar, the material, structure and fit change quite a bit how they look worn.

The dad cap is a six-panel cap with no rigid structure, a curved brim and an adjustable rear buckle closure. It began life as a casual everyday cap (hence the name) and today it's one of the most versatile cuts: it works in both casual and sporty looks, and suits practically any face shape because it doesn't impose a strong silhouette. It's exactly the cut used across our Lola collection: soft panel, no reinforcement, factory-curved brim.

The classic trucker has a rigid, tall front panel and a breathable mesh back, originally designed for outdoor work. Its silhouette is bolder and bulkier, with a retro feel strongly associated with the 70s and 80s.
